20 October 2026 – Society Talk – New Lodge. Dr Paul Jennings will be speaking about Beekeeping & Permaculture – Designing resilience for bees, people and ecosystems.
November 2026- New Lodge. The SDBKS Honey Show. An enjoyable and interesting evening. All members can taste and judge the honey entered for the show. There will be categories other than honey. Bring your best honey – only one jar for each entry. The evening will be rounded off by the annual buffet.

Recent events
20 September 2026– Pontlliw Community Hall. We have extracted the honey from the society’s apiary. In this session you will get experience of the process of straining, ripening and putting the honey into jars ready for sale at the RSPCA shop at Llys Nini.
