17 June 2025- New Lodge. Getting ready for the Gower Show. There will be a talk about how to prepare your entries for the Honey Show and how to choose the different categories of honey and what the judges are looking for. The organisers will also explain what help they need in the Honey Tent preparing for the show and during the day.
8 July 2025- New Lodge. Your chance to sign up to submit entries for the various categories of the Honey Show. Find out what other members are preparing tp show.
31 August 2025- Coop Honey Room, Llanrhidian Village Hall. We have extracted the honey from the society’s apiary. In this session you will get experience of the process of straining, ripening and putting the honey into jars ready for sale at the RSPCA shop at Llys Nini.
11 November 2025- New Lodge. The SDBKS Honey Show. An enjoyable and interesting evening. All members can taste and judge the honey entered for the show. There will be categories other than honey. Bring your best honey – only one jar for each entry. The evening will be rounded off by the annual buffet.
